    you likey the 20A3P?? :D

It's a pretty good burner actually, I've thought about the SATA version of the burner but with the introduction of the AD-7200 (Sony/NEC/Opty) my desires for the DH-20A3S went by the waste side. :)

Hope all is well buddy. good to hear from you. :D

I was in a hurry and thought a DL burn might be something you guys would like to see. lol. In a hurry cause I didn't want to wait the 45 minutes it would take for DVD-RB to do it's thing. :)

I need to do some more burns but it seems the CMC MAG AM3 is "doing" a little better in this drive than the RITEKF1.... hmmm L@@KS like CMC MAG may have increased the quality of the product or the ODD manufacturers have finally found a way to make their product work with more media. ;O

    Same with mine.

    Rob,

    You have to run regedit.

Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, AHEAD, Nero Toolkit, CD Speed, CD Quality. In the right panel, you will see a registry labeled "Blocked". You need to edit out the "Samsung" and "TSST" entries.

You should then be able to scan but no jitter test.

    I love my Sammy!

I think my 203B is probably my best all around drive. I love it too.

Oops, the regedit instructions I stated are for the older versions of CD Speed.

From Loco's link you need to follow:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Ahead\Nero Toolkit\CD Speed\CD Quality

Nice scan Rob, but shouldn't you be scanning on with your Litey if you burned with the Sammy? I always thought you weren't supposed to scan a disc on the same drive that you used to burn????? Maybe I'm just thinking bass ackwards...

I think you'll like the Sammy too, but what happened to the NEC 7200?
