when scanned with the 7200s the pie's are alot higher. when i scanned with my litey they are alot lower.gonna do another on a verb but burn at 8x normal speed.

ok i lied i burnt it at 18x..lol pie's are high but the pifs are very nice.

Well NOT impressed still with these RITEKF1 discs.... I've only had a couple of RITEK MID's that burned consistently well... I think the Ritek R03 is one of them. They just can't keep any of the criteria at an acceptable level for me. I like to see PIF's stay under 500 for sure and Jitter below 9 but below 10 will do (max not average).

BTW where is our little Binkie7?? Haven't seen her post in here for a while... We're posting some pix now and I thought that would entice the little woman.... hehehee.

MIT verbs is all im useing after this batch of officedepot disc are gone.or ty's of course

 

RedRob I have some D01's and S04's and they both are lacking compared to the MIS Verbies. NOT to bad tho... I've burned mine at 4x, 6x, and 8x.... but it seems that 4x worked the best for the RITEK DL's.

i just did a DL ridata with the 7200s. scanned with it also the nscaned with the LH-20A1S..also used the S203b(sammy) and went disc to disc movie and menu only. used one of the office depot Ritek R05.. junk is all i can say. i dont know how either play i havent checked.

i am creaky is. it is happening all over the place..

i just got some of the memorex 8x+rDL disc 12.99 for 15 of them..
heck they had a now hireing sign up. i even filled out a app for part time on the weekends..lol earn some extra cash to blow there...lmao

ill post the dvdidentifier of them once i get home

and here is the burn on one. not to bad id have to say. i used the S203b to burn with.burnt at 6x

ok i got lucky and found a 8x+r TY(2 actually) used the 7200S to burn at 8x.very very nice i must say.scanned also with the NEC
scanning with a litey now. see if theres much difference

Well what the heck i thought..i would show my face up in here it's been awhile..i got a verb in the oven ready to scan after a encoding with Dvd Rebuilder with specs attached..this was burned at 8x it did peak at the end..

I did have some good gaps there between the Pif's it's a litly burn guys and yes...i'm a trek'ee fan..i burned season 1 thru 5 on the BenQ LS1655 all at 12x came out pretty good 7 disc's per season..Dvd 9's reduced to Dvd 5's..

not another 98 but a great score all around. low PIE's PIF's and a really low Jitter score. the 7200S is really starting to work out..

 

i gave up on the R05's and F16 riteks...only use them for xvid conversions and cams....lol

where you been havent seen ya around for a bit????

The RO2, RO4 and RO5's were all very good for me. The RO3's were a little iffy. About 3 months ago the quality of the RO5's just seemed to vanish and My last batch purchased had a mixture of the RO5's and the F-16's. They were horrible!

From what I can tell and from memory these are ALL burned at 12x with IMGBURN....

8x TDK (CMC MAG MID), 8x Nero 6 Burn (DVD to DVD), 5x Optiarc scan:



Same disc bur scanned @ 6x with Benq 1655 for comparison:



Don't know how good the NEC is as a scanner so did the comparison.

Looks like my issue might be my Rosewill sata card! Computer won't boot if anything now connected to it(and powered). Other sara card working but it's a no-go for f/w updates on liteys.

Now to see about updating the f/w on the NEC!

I was correct about not being able to update f/w with the Promise sata card it's currently connected to. Have to troubleshoot the Rosewill.

 

ok guys i got a few question. its not really a scan but it is a shot of imageburn trying to burn on the samsung s203b.

its notpretty what im finding.

ive tried 3 disc so far. 2 ritek F16's and 1 16x+r verb.oh yea one of these idid with nero create disc. doesnt matter what speed i select to burn it trys to get to that speed then falls on its face. drops down to 4x speed and such. i dont knwo if its the drive, FW sata cable ore what... i dont get any of this on any of the other drives....the buffer on the dvice and overall buffer just goes crazy anywhere from 0-100%it should stay at 100%..

i wonder if the sammy has a bad sata cable also????
