Ditto to LOCO's post. Rob you have a great B-day and make the little lady take you to dinner or a movie, MAYBE both!!!! At least you got some sort of score with you DL disc. I've only had one score out of 5 OVER ZERO...lol. ....gm
Happy B-Day from me also Rob! If it's dinner & a movie, will it be chili @ Skyline & a kiddie movie? Hopefully you are burning at 2.4x. Have you tried to play one of those DLs? Hey gm, Have you tried any DLs other than those Dynex?
Here is one of a Singapore Verb 2.4X DL burned at 2.4X in my trusty ole NEC 3540a... http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h162/locoeng/dlscan.png
I've played one of the DL's and it played fine but for how long?? I'll do some other DL burns later once I'm convinced I know the drive is doing it's thing. I happen to have a couple of other DL's from a little elf that need trying. hehehe. ....gm
Pretty nice LOCO!! I need to break down and get some of those Verb's. I'm such a cheap bastard. LOL. Sometimes you get what you pay for tho!!! ....gm
I bought a 20 pack of these Verb printable +R's for $25 over a year ago from NewEgg...they were regularly like $60, but were on sale for $40 with an additional rebate from Verbatim.
You lucky dog LOCO! I wish I could have stumbled onto that deal at Newegg back then! Nice scan too BTW.
thanks everyone. i havent tried burning one at 2.4 yet. first one was @ 6x and mylastone was @4x. will do 2.4 next one. here is a 16x+r TY...very nice scan. but it has the date in it from 2 weeks ago i did it this morning???? http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i196/Cincrob/perfectstrangers.png
Did you back up from another backup? If yes, I've also found that the 2nd backup has the burn date of the original backup. (Confused?? I think I am!)
very nice scan LOCO. think i might have a few of them 8x+r hubprintable TYs left might have to look and see

Here's a Memorex SL CMC MAG burn (If you are going to post Dynex, I'll post some CMC MAGs, at least until they're gone!): http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s102/hobbit112/Drive20a1hCMC6xBurn.png and here are the stats: http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s102/hobbit112/Drive20a1hCMC6xBurnStats.png
And here's a Verb DL: http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s102/hobbit112/Dupree20a1h4xVerbBurn.png A peak at the layer break. Here's the stats: http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s102/hobbit112/Dupree20a1h4xVerbBurnStats.png
OK kiddies, I couldn't resist any longer. I went and bought a 15 pc cake box of the new Verbatim 10x +R DLs @ BB last night. Well, they are labeled (rated) 8x with the label saying upto 10x (Plextors?). They are different. They code out as MKM-003, MADE IN SINGAPORE. They are the same color and design as the 2.4 +R DLs and the only visual difference is that on the inner ring it is printed(embossed?) 8X in addition to the regular VERBATIM +R DL. Did some test burns @ 8x with ImgBurn and got some interesting things. First, the ImgBurn log from the first burn: I 18:13:27 ImgBurn Version 2.3.2.0 started!
