    @cinryrob
    I've been using the TY hub & non hub printables -R's for about 2 years. They have stood the test of time ;) (well so far at least!)

    @pahick
    Ah so very true!

    @Binkie...... I'm over the loss in the Giant game! oh well! Live with it!

    one thing about my TYG03s...... I did a Qscan from QSuite that came with my BenQ 1655 drive. It told me that the best speed to write to the TYG03s would be 12x..... but the burning times actually are more than the 8x burning times! I found this to be weird as I always have burned to 8x before I got the 16x TYG03s..... and yet the scans prove that I can burn a DVD with AnyDVD and CloneDVD in 15mins at 8x, but if I do the same DVD with AnyDVD & CloneDVD at 16x it takes me over 20-25mins! It should be less!!!! After about 25 from a 100 pack of TYG03s..... I have to admit that the 8x burns are not only faster but the scans are even better! Does anyone else find this same thing happening to their drive?

    Too funny IHoe - I have the opposite problem - well not really a problem.
    Verb +R 16x take me longer burning at 12x or higher than the TY -R 16x.
    Though the Verbs maybe 10 mins at higher speeds - roughly 7 mins for 8x TY's & under 6 for 16x.

    I guess it all depends on the burner....... my BenQ is really nice and burn the YUDEN00T2s just fine with great scans and burns fast at 8x within 15mins for a full DVD...... the TYG03s burn faster at 8x than at 16x! go figure!

    Argh!

    /me slaps cincy with his adhesive covers :p

    Seems like you learnt that hard way then :(

    I suppose you could try re-ripping; but to be honest, it's not going to work...IMO.

    Might aswell try to rerip anyway! :)

    soak the disks in warm water with a little dish detergent in them, will soften up the adhesive and let you remove the labels, you'll get better results ripping them again.
    Been there, done that, bought the time share in label land Rob.

    What's the make and model of the drive? Not all are supported by Nero for the disc quality scan.
