I'm using Imgburn and need to burn a boot disc so-to-speak for my xbox. Never had an issue burning to my Verbatims until now.

The file I need to burn is about 250mb and I need to burn it to only the first layer of a DL disc. The burn seems to work fine until the Finalizing stage and then it reports Power Calibration Area Errors and fails.

I blew through 2 DL discs last night with this and then burned a 7 or 8 GB game successfully. After the game burned successfully I restarted my computer, disabled IMAP, uninstalled STPD, and took a can of compressed air to inside the drive... rebooted again and tried reburning my 'boot disc' and got the same error.

Is Imgburn having a hard time finalizing so much empty space? Any ideas?

Like I said, using Verbatim DL's I got off the egg... not sure where they were made. Drive is a NEC ND-3650A
