I am getting Power Calibration Error while burning DVD. I searched through the net and found some suggestions like, 1. Disabling IMAPI CD BURNING COM SERVICE 2. Write at slow speed 3. Change the power connector to the DVD 4. Use high quality DVD disc (media) 5. Update DVDs firmware I tried all the above suggestions except updating firmware. My DVD model is Sony AW-G170A. When I install this firmware I get the error Target SONY AW-G170A is not found correctly. Why I am getting this error message. What can I do to fix this. Thanks for any help!!

Was the new firmware listed here. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Sony/AW-G170A/files.html Before trying the firmware, have Nero output the files to the HDD, install ImgBurn and select 'Write files/folders to disc'. Click 'Tools' > Settings' and under the 'Write' tab, turn on 'Perform OPC before write'. This does a calibration before the burn and gives a warning before the disk is wasted. If you still can't get a good burn, try the firmware. 'Tools' > Drive' > 'Check for firmware update'

Yours is listed in the Nero log (1.62) If you let ImgBurn check for updates it will also show you - this is mine..
My version is 1.62 When I click OK button it takes me to a link, which is same as the one provided by you in your first reply. Versions 1.73 and 1.75 are available in this page. But when I try to install I am getting the same error message Target SONY AW-G170A is not found correctly which I mentioned in my first post. Thanks for all your effort!!
