Power calibration error with DW-U12A ?

    Burns fail with my Sony PCV-RZ22G with a DW-U12A.I`m using Ritek GO5 for the first time burning at 4X.Fails every time with this message :#27 CDR-1106 File writer ccp line 304 Power Calibration error. What does this mean.The same Ritek GO5 burn ok at 4X in my Pioneer 108

    Hi there Jerry,

    Try using the G04's.

    A “Power Calibration Error” can also be attributed to the Optical Components of a DVD Writer, though this isn’t usually the case. Trying to shut down your software and ejecting your DVD then restarting your program and re-inserting the same media recently cleaned has been known to help in some cases.

    Also make sure your firmware for the sony is up-to-date.
