Power calibration error?

    My DVDRW lite-on LDW-411S has worked pretty good in the past never read anything good but I have burned cds that worked and 1 movie and data dvds, but now i try to burn a DVD(ps2 game) dvd decrypter gave me so messed up message and so did everything else, but NERO said power calibration error or something to that effect so what do I need to do to fix this

    Try burning slower to see if the problem goes away ... if not, its a sign your burner is on its way out (or is already toasted) :(

    that sux i practically just bought the damn thing nero won't let me go any slower but I'll try on another program

    it made it to 19% instead of 1% this time but thats it same error

    Another brand of media may do the trick as well, what are you using?

    I am Using fujifilm for my media and i have the most updated firmware, but I will be trying everything nero says and i'll get back to y'all

    I also have a LDW 411S DVD writer and has the same problem. What I did was just to use a VCD Lens Cleaner (a CD with a tiny brush on it). And the problem was solved !

    So don't throw away your DVD writer - its just a dirty head !

    Those cleaners can work miracles somtimes :)

    Alright my luck sucks and not working very well i have been searching all over the internet I hear to use the old firmware of FSOF there is just one problem I can't freakin find it so if you don't mind could you help me locate the firmware for LDW-411s FSOF
