    Hi there,

Make sure you have the latest version of Nero (v7.0.5.4)

Latest firmware for your burner is v1.06F *OR* v1.8A (Dell OEM)

Use quality media like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Maxell [bold]made in Japan[/bold].

Most of the time, this error will go away with these.

first i was curious it says that if i mess up and this is not the correct firmware update that this could ruin my drive and also how do u know the 106F is the correct one to download istead of the 1.92 or the 104E?

    cougar,
I keep getting a calibration error also, but this is only when i burn anything less than 70 MB. I am burning at 4x on Verbatim CDs, any suggestions?
