Hi, I was just wondering if it was okay to play games while the DS was charging. Would this cause the battery life to go down faster? Thanks
I use my DS while charging all the time. In theory, it should have no effect to the battery's life. If it does cause the battery life to only last 4 years instead of 5 (just a made up number, I have no clue how long the battery will actually last), then you can simply buy a new one for less than $6 (link here).
It is ok to play while the unit is charging. It says so in the user manual. Only down side is that it will take longer for the battery to fully charge, than if you were not playing.
