I've got a OEM Pioneer dvr a04 & have got Primo DVD v 2.0 (not supplied with drive). The software won't recognise the a04 as a writer only a dvd rom, i've done images on the hard using the drive but it won't let me write anything back as it says no compatable writers were found on this machine!! All my other software works fine (dvd decypter & nero). Anyone HELP???

    From this link ftp://eval.veritas.com/downloads/pro/sg2.61.exe
    download the StorageGuard(5.25MB).
install it on your PC and run it while online.
It will automaticly conect you with the company server and download the update you need.
When it's done downloading it it will innstall it on your PC.
When all these are done you can reboot your PC and it will recognize the Pioneer DVR-104.
I had the same problem and it worked form me.

P.S.Don't forget to let the StorageGuard complete all the work before rebooting your PC.

    Good Luck
