My new desktop is running WIN 7 64bit. I am trying to install a BROTHER HL1240 laser printer. Unlike XP the printer does NOT self install, it is NOT on the printers list, nor does the BROTHER web site have a simple installation process, NO download button to select. All I can find on the web is those stupid driver download apps, some paid some not. NO FREE direct download buttons anywhere! Please send me a link to the printer driver for BOTH the HL1240 and 1440. The 1650 is the same as the 1440. I have a 1440 cd but it never works even on XP. I need help please! The drive is supossed to be available for XP through 10.
