hey guys. let me just say this forum has been amazing. i have found every answer i've ever needed for a backup problem. until now. i have this awesome movie, transcendence, with some of the most amazing snowboarding scenes out there. basically one long highlight clip. but anyways, i'm trying to back it up, put the dvd in, open up mactheripper v.2.6.6, it reads it, and when the big black bar gets to the end, it just suddenly crashes. i press reopen, it reads it again, and it crashes again. on the third reopen, i get some warning window with my name and a disclaimer, saying i have to agree i'm not a member of the mpaa or using it for illegal reasons and some other stuff. any idea what's going on? let me know if you need any other information. thanks in advance.

does that message come up from MTR?

play the movie for a few minutes on the dvd player and then try again..

    or try reinstalling MTR..

yeah, it comes up on MTR. upon the third reopen, the screen comes up in the little grey box we're all so used to, and i have to wait i about 5 seconds before i can press agree and MTR opens up again. i tried it on a friend's computer and he gets the same error. i tried what you suggested and it did the same thing, so i just went to the store and returned it for another copy and didn't have any of the problems this time around. i guess it may have been an issue with the original. i've played it in a loop whenever i throw parties in the background (music sucks in the movie though, so put your own music on) and i guess that may have caused some problems. i don't know though. i'd be interested to find out what the deal with this screen is because i've never seen it before or even heard of it before and found it pretty interesting.... thanks anyways though!
