Hello there, I am using ConvertXtoDVD (files originally in .avi) and having trouble after converting them to burn them. When I use DVDShrink to analyze the files the are all fine and i can see them fine(so there is no problem encoding them to DVD) but after I burn the files the dvd videos files with Nero 7 when I am gonna watch them on DVD there comes a moment when the movies cannot be watched and I am losing money on the dvd blank disc. Is there a way to fix this?

PS: The discs are cleaned and not dirty (that is not the problem).

Are you burning on quality media (Made in Japan or Verbatim) at 4x max?

CompUSA doesn't make the disks, it buys them from different suppliers.

    http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia?d...rder=Name&hits=50&search=Search+or+List+Media

The media code tells you who made them.

Most problems are caused by bad disks and the only way to troubleshoot is to start with proven good media.
The best media says 'Made in Japan' on the wrapper or 'Verbatim' (which is made in Taiwan) and is burned at 4x max.

If you run Nero Tools 'CD/DVD Speed' > 'Disc Info' , it will give you the media ID.
