hi kg21, Can you post the entire log without your nero serial (edit out it should start with 1A2) so we can see the entire process per your log. Then we can give you a better answer as what may be the issue.

what kind of media are you using as your burner doesn't like your choice. your version of nero is old. Update to the latest version 6.6.0.15 (I can only vouch that 6.6.0.14 works properly so I suggest using that one until results are back for 6.6.0.15. Also try using nero vision express. wow update your nero to get the latest WinASPI as yours is about a year out of date. Before you do any updating delete your current version of nero using http://nero.com/us/Clean_Tools.html . Reboot then do a fresh install. Do not install incd as it is a packet writing software and will constantly try to access your drive while using any software to burn cds. Burning avi in data mode are you trying to watch them on a stand alone player? If so as i said earlier use nero vision express as it automatically format the files to vcd compliant (mpeg) and as long as your player supports vcd(s) you should have no problem as it will play them in file mode (screen will say file mode before the avi file starts to play). Try the steps I stated and report back to see if that solved your problem. Oh instead of trying to use the nero verifier (not many have luck with this) try using dvdinfopro. You can find it using a google search.
