Well Ive never used DVDx but you can use Virtualdubmod (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/virtualdubmod/VirtualDubMod_1_5_4_1_All_inclusive.zip?download) to mux the audio and video.

    Load movie in Virtualdubmod.

In Video menu set Direct Stream Copy.

Get into the Streams menu and click stream list.

Click ADD and choose the audio file.

    Click Ok.

    Save Avi.

What do you mean enable the sound?

You don't have to enable anything, just select the right sound stream.

Maybe the volume is very low?

Try to put a value like 10 at the volume box at DVDx. Make sure you select the right track!

    In the "Input Settings" section:
    - Make sure you select an audio track

    In the "Output Settings" section:
    - Make sure the Audio setting isnt "Disabled"

You might want to goto Tools --> Normalize Audio
