I recently bought a DVD-R and I install it as a cable select but when I played a movie, the audio is kinda slow even sounds like stammering. Then I played that same movie in the other DVD-ROM drive (primary) and the movie is just fine. No matter which drive is the secondary, the sound is the same. This is the second drive I bought because I thought the first one was not working right.

    Any Help?
    Thanks!!!

I've got both my hd's on primary .
My burner is set on secondary-slave
My lite-on 167t is set on secondary master. No issues.

Some members recommend the opposite- burner as master and dvd-rom slave.

Some systems like dell call for cable-select. There's a few other threads floating on this main page you may want to check out.http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/166524
