Problem Starview 3, NEED HELP PLEASE!

I will have a go at it-next time it stops working.

I am certain it is a loose connection somewhere. I will open it up next time and check for the white ribbon.

I have a sound problem with my starview 3 box.

The sound goes off for long periods and comes on occasionally. I'm using a scart connection and have tried it using different scart cables and different TV's.

I've done a reset, re-flashed the latest 705e software, re-scan channels in my mates house. but I still get the problem.

any suggestions?

Hi can anyone help with 2 small starview 3 problems please.

A friend of mine has just got the starview 3 and all the channels are set up. He has 2 problems if he changes the channel on the TV when he changes back the screen is blank. He gets the channels back if he disconnects the scart and reconnects it. The second is a problem sorting the channels, when he sorts them and saves they keep the same number and revert back to the original position.

Tried all that. Still no Chelsea TV. Got everything else. Any ideas guys.

Tried that but no joy. during the searches it indicates there is one channel there but it comes up no channel found. Sigh!!

 

are you on nthell?

delete the old one first then scan. you might need a channel dump or do a factory reset.

i told him that chelsea frequency but he said no luck.

 

its possible that his signal strength is not strong enough or eles his cable is split as he is the only person that is not receiving that channel

 

maybe a factory reset or channel dump might fix it.

 

yes there is one on the eko site but only for the starview 1 box so if he is using thebox with v4.54 firmware on it he will have to convert the file to suit his box

 

on the eurovox i scanned 395.000 and thats where they were and they were slightly different on my digivox so not sure whats going on there but its worth a shot

 

eurovox is always different freq i dont know why

 

auto scan should be picking them up. although after a frequency shift that doesn't always work without factory resetting.

 

yeah ive reallised that yesterday and i think digivox is also different to starview and eurovox cos it doesnt match either so prob have to put a list of freq up for each box ..ah well
