Problem with a Starview channel

bring your box to your mates house and try it if it workes there tune it in then try your own house then ok

 

is there anyway of individually inputing channel frequencies

 

that is why i gave you the freq so you could put it in go to installation manuall and put it in there

 

i guess then i'll try and install it in my bro's house instead.thanks

 

do a whole re scan down there and see what you get

 

I'm having the same problem. In waterford and can't get Set**ta Sports 1 working at all. Also does anyone have Set**ta Sports 2 working on theirs?

 

Try manual input of the freq

307000 Setanta Sports 1
387500 Setanta Sports 2

This happens whn they broadcast programs that werent recorded in pal probably recorded in ntsc ,pal is what we use in ireland and they convert to it which is why the screen goes funny,you can fix it by manually adjusting aspect ratio,any programs like premiership gam es etc are all normal and the reason the adds are normal is because they are recorded in pal

 

tried manual scan today all 17 stations on freq 15000 came in but after a while stations went blank again i think it might be a local n** problem in dub 24 area is there any other freq for these stations s*y s***t 1 and s*y s***t news

 

lads just want to report all te channels are back to normal down the south of ireland thanx for all the advise mates

what firmware are you using ?

 

how can i check what firmware is on my starview it has 27 slots if that is any help

 

Count the slots again , I'd say you might have 25 not 27

Menu > System Information to find what version you have

 

sorry 25 slots
