With ASUS boards, either (a) you need to reset that jumper thingy or depending on the mobo (b) you dont have to reset anything, turn it off for a bit and the next bootup it will reset itself Is the system passing POST? Is there sufficent power? Remove the video card and reinstall it AGP4X/AGP8X wont affect the ability to post. What are the specs on the old and new memory
