ok,first i converted the avi with VSO DivxToDVD, then burnt it to a dvd+r with ImgBurn...now it was great cept for the fact the audio was barely outta sync. Now ive heard this is because of the dvd write speed, i have a 16x burner and heard i should write at 4x. how do i change th write speed?

I never heard that those problem are caused by write speed.
Usually you have an AVI sound encoded MP3 VBR: encoders dosn't understand them and create a MPG out of sync. In the FAQ you'll see how to fix that problem.
