That was the conclusion I thought I was going to make, but alas, I was able to burn the project fine when I put my burner in my other system. So, somehow its software related...Does anyone have any ideas. When I burn, the light on my drive comes on red and it takes just as long as if it was burning a CD-R at the same speed...Nero even verified the data afterwards. But when I go to explore the burner...the disc is BLANK.
Definitely a mystery for sure. The only type of software I can think of that would be a likely culprit is packeting writing software like Nero's InCD. There are others as well like Drag to Disk, DLA, FileCD, etc. The best and likely fastest overall solution at this point might be to backup the data on your system and then reformat your hard drive and reinstall the OS. When reinstalling applications be careful what CD/DVD burning software you reinstall.
