I have a Matshita DVD-RAM. When I try to use DVD Decrypter to write something it gives and I/O Error. I don't know if its the dvds that have a compatibility problem or its my device, because my laptop is new and I haven't used it for anything burning yet.

DVD Decrypter, while a great program, hasn't been updated in quite a while. Try using DVD Fab Decrypter, it's free, simple to use, and updated often. Link here:

Even with that program when I put my DVD in it says "no media inserted"

I'm thinking the drive is messed up, but I have never used it before. Or That the DVD I'm using is not compatible.
