    Hi,
I had a major problem with my pc, and as a result had to do a complete re-install.

After loading the ghost software I went through the process of installing my over software, but for some reason I am having trouble reading CD's.

Does anyone know what my problem is?

Also, I managed to get Direct CD installed, and almost completed EZCD4 when my pc crashed. I rebooted to find that it had installed EZ CD, but there was no record of it in the START menu, or in ADD/REMOVE.

This means I cant remove it.

I am getting the problems of it not recognising there is a cd in the drive.

Does the cd not get recognised if its very warm?

Shall I retry reinstalling EZ CD, or do I be drastic and go for a full restore again.

    Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Easy CD Cre(a)mater can cause serious problems with your pc. DirectCD is "most likely" causing the conflicts. EZCD 4.0 is outdated and I recommend you unstall and try a freebie called BurnAtOnce. As far as packet writing software, I don't use as cdrw's tend to lock up my pc m8.
Also after uninstalling run scan disc then reboot and install BurnAtOnce.
