I have an LG and a Sony internal dvd writer. I just upgraded to the newer version of nero software and now both dvd writers are not writing at their top speeds. It use to take 7 mins to record a dvd, it now takes 30mins or longer to record on both drives. I am using 8x disc. I have tried uninstalling the program and tried an earlier version of nero with no effect. I also tried using another dvd recording program, but it also records the disc's very slow. I have tried + and - disc. I don't know if nero effected the recording speeds of the dvd burners.

    Need some help

    Hi macgvyer
Sounds like your drives may have slipped into pio mode. So change them back to DMA - here's guide.
