Hello- I have a soyo motherboard. When I go to turn on the computer- it powers up, and the cpu fan is turning, but I get no video, no beeping sound heard. I The soyo manual says to clear the CMOS Battery which I have done and has no effect. I have to turn off the computer by holding the power button, then turn it back on again-then it works. It's driving me nuts! Should I just get a new motherboard?

disconnect all cables from drives, remove all cards except video card & 1 stick of ram. reseat the video card, the ram & the power supply connector(s) than power up system. if possible try another psu & repeat process. also try board out of case just in case of bad grounding
