I was wondering if you guys could help me with a problem I'm having with my stand-alone dvd player; Its a Pioneer DV-250. Recently, my dvd player will play 62min of a movie on DVD (originals and copies) and then stop. I'd try to trick the dvd player by trying to skip to a scene that is beyond the 62min mark; but it wouldn't play. I tried fast forwarding past the 62min mark; It woul;d only stop. tried cleaning the dvd player, but the problem still exists.

    Can anyone help me?

PS. It does the same thing with scvd, vcd, and kvcd

You said you cleaned it did you run a disk cleaner or actually take the unit aprart and clean with q-tip and alcohol. Honestly sounds like your player has craped out on ya. tip if you do decide to clean with alcohol let lens air dry for atleast 30 minutes before you run disk threw. Sounds like the drive (laser) locking up at the exact same spot.

    Good Luck
