I've been trying to make a back-up of SWAT using DVD-DEcrypter and Nero Recode, but all of my attempts have had the same problem. When you start playing the DVD I get stuck in a loop after the disclaimer about the "These comments are not from FOX, etc." It just loops that disclaimer over and over.

Anyone had this problem and/or know how to resolve it?

    DVD Decrypter
    DVD2One
    Nero 6

    [bold]or[/bold]

    DVD Shrink
    Nero 6

I use the top method myself & have the movie you are speaking of on DVD-R...

Thanks for the advice. I'm just curious if anyone else is having the same problems that I'm having. I've used some of the other combos w/ success, but this one combo is giving this weird problem.

I already have Nero 6 which is why I'm attempting to use Nero recode, their new software which is supposedly written by the authors of DVD Shrink.

Yea, I know what ya mean, I guess even though I have recode2 I still use Ashrink because I learned on it and the guides for it are just so damn simple -

I've got no idea why Nero's guide for recode2 seems so difficult, Go Figure, Huh ?

When Ya get fair to good with Shrink it's nice to get rid of that disclaimer thingie using the re-Author mode :))

Thanks for all the help. Has anyone successfully used the DVD-Decrypter and Nero Recode combo to back up SWAT?

I've done it successfully w/ other software (DVD X Copy Platinum & DVD-Shrink/Nero), but I would still like to know if it is possible to use the aforementioned combo successfuly.

Thank you for all your help. I did install of XP Pro on my machine and then loaded everything back on.

After the new install I was able to successfully back up SWAT with the Decryptor/Recode combo.

It's not that I didn't already have XP, but for some reason XP was acting funny. I just figured it might be good to do a re-install.

Of course, SWAT would have to be my very first try at burning a DVD movie and I thought I was doing something wrong all along. This is kinda unbelievable, but I've been getting the exact same loop, in the exact same movie that you have been getting Dajoker. I've actually ripped and burn this movie 5 times now with the same results on both dash and plus media from 2 different companies(luckily they were RW's). I also have at least 8 separate how to guides sitting in front of me right at this moment. lol

I have DVD Decrypter Version 3.2.0.0, DVD Shrink 3.1.6 , and Nero 6 Ultra Edition to do my backups.

I've read the thread but still didn't understand what the solution was to fix the problem. That is, other than reinstalling XP Pro. By the way, I'm using Xp Home version.

Basically, all I did was do a clean install of windows. Another thing to check is to see which, if any, titlesets you have selected. I think there may have been a problem involved with the french warning...watch the original and then try watching one of your copies. See if you notice anything strange there.
