I am using 4Media Video Converter. My computer isn't fast enough to play a 1080 HD movie but I was planning on using my Xbox 360 to play. After the conversion from mkv to wmv the video quality was great and the audio was great on my computer. But once it I played it on my Xbox the voice weren't playing. I got video and music/some sound effects BUT no voices. It would maybe be easier to figure out if there was no audio completely but no voices I haven't heard of. Please help. I have other movies to convert and I don't want to be disappointed. There are 3 audio settings on the Xbox and I have tried them all. I successfully converted Wall-E. But failed with Ironman and Madagasscar 2.
You can try to use Handbrake. It will not convert it to WMV but it does have a preset for the Xbox 360. That will convert it to MP4. Hope this helps.
