I use Dvd Shrink and Nero to back up copies of my dvds, but I am having a problem with Dvd Shrink. When I initially put the dvd in the system Shrink encodes the movie fine usually taking about 5-10 minutes. The problem comes when I try to start the (backup) process. When I press backup the time it takes to encode the cd takes anywhere from 8-10 hours depending on the dvd. This is crazy!@!!! Why is this... Is it my shrink settings? Is it because of the buffer? Is it my computer? Someone please help me with this problem. Usually after the second encode is done the (8-10 hour one) the dvd usually burns and plays fine. I need a remedy to reduce this encode time.
