I have a hardware modded xbox and i was previously running EvoX. I followed
a tutorial on changing the default dashboard, but when i rebooted it went to the origonal xbox dashboard.

    Just for how it started...
I was trying to change to unleashX and i was already able to use it from one of the apps. I tried to make Unleashx default by renaming unleashX.exe to 1unleashX.exe, as the tutorial said to do and it froze. when i turned it back on the blue xbox sign with the pink Evox sign in the corner, then it went to the origonal xbox dashboard, but the led was still orange.
Any information on getting back to the evoX dashboard or even better the unleashX dashboare would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I usually put a bott disk on a good dvd because you never know when you'll run into a drive that is picky.

    Does a CD-RW ever work?

alright i got a boot disc to run but when i looked for apps to rename the file back, it would not show any apps or games for that matter. it is not the same version of evoX, so would that be a problem?

P.S. if I'm not in the right section, please let me know
