it's a long movie, so why don't you just buy another copy and save some time. You figure the time you spend trying to make it look good and it is not worth the effort. But if you must, keep the Latin 5.1

    ??????

Is the English 2-channel some sort of dubbed audio track? If it is I'd keep the Latin 5.1 :)

Keep the Latin 5.1. The effort to shrink it cost more than the dvd. Just buy it again if you need it as a backup. Or wait until your copy dies then go buy it again.
