hi I got a problem with Cdmage .
I use it to scan icewind dale cd2 and it found some corrupted files.
I was able to repair them.
I try that in cd1 and no matter what I did it wont able to read my .bin file .
I made it a .ISO file but same thing wont read my file.
anyone have a good solution for this ?

I cant remember exatcly but one of the fairly common data cd image formats (i think it's ISO - well at least MODE1/2048 ISO's there may be others) cannot be error checked.

If you are having trouble even reading the image file, try using one of the other formats (i.e., in the box that pops up when tou try to open the file, reading it in a different mode)

Try converting the ISO to a BIN and check that. It might work.

PS. IceWind Dale2 isnt THAT great... Baldur's Gate II is better (i think -- this is cuz i like to play thief and in IDW2, i cant pickpocket worth crap all, a couple other small annoyances really hehe)

Perhaps (i really dunno but just a guess), there is a (new?) way of creating cd images so that they work 100% guaranteed with a SPEICIFC model of burner and not so compatible with other models or something.... sounds kinda crazy but i dunno too much about cd image file systems_X_X_X_X_X_[small]ASUS A7V333+RAID, AMD2100+
