Hi, I am trying to rip a dvd in file mode(dvd decrypter) so I can use dvd clone and nero to burn it.

When I am ripping the dvd it always gets to the file "vts_01_5.vob" then it just stops doing anything, eventually I get an error message:-

    "I/O error

    device: [1:0:0]Samsung Cd-rw/dvd sm352f t902 (D:)(ATA)

    ScsiStatus: 0x02
    Interpretation: Check condition

    CDB: 28 00 00 21 07 10 00 00 01 00
    Interpretation: read(10)- sector:2164496

    Sense area: f0 00 05 00 00 00 00 0a 00 00 00 00 64 00 00 00 00
Interpretation: Illegal mode for this track"

I have tried skipping that file and it does the same thing for the next file and so on.

Why is this? Is there a way I can overcome it?

What dvd is it?? Decrypter will have problems with some of the new movies. You may need Anydvd or try DVD Fab decrypter instead. They have been updated for the new encryptions.
