    Hi,

I tried to use DVD Flick earlier. Everything is fine until last part - ImgBurn came up and it did not work.

    It says:

    I/O Error!

    Device: [1:0:0] TSSTcorp CDRW/DVD TSL 462C DE06 (D:) (ATA)
    ScsiStatus: 0*02
    Interpretation: Check Condition

    CDB: 1B 01 00 00 03 00
    Interpretation: Start/Stop Unit

    Sense Area: F0 00 05 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 24 00 00 00 00 00
    Interpretation: Invalid Field in CDB

What does it mean? I keep wondering if it's because of my DVD-ROM?
    Please help! Thank you!

Well, It appears that your DVD-R's are either scratched, dirty or just bad media. Mind telling us what brand DVD-R's you're using?

I use a Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop, it just says Compact Disc Rewritable DVD-ROM. I keep wondering if it can burn DVD?

    Thank you, comwiz!

    Hi

from what you are saying, you seem to have a cd burner and a dvd reader, not dvd burner. Therefore Imgnurn cannot write a dvd for you. You need to purchase a dvd burner. As for a laptop, I suggest an external usb burner as internal laptop burners IMHO are too flimsy for more than occasional burning. I suggest a liteon external ( Imgburn can booktype them, and they have a good rep )

    Dear Iluvendo,
his might sound really dumb, but how can I check if my Toshiba Satellite has a dvd burner? I'm downloading a PAL ISO image of Romeo and Juliet and want to burn it to DVD when I've finished.

    Any hints?
