problems with my starview

    hey simon here .. i have starview box 1 and it just keeps on saying that its loadin or scrambling anyone know how to fix it . i would appreciate it very much.....

    Ok first of all I need to know what cable provider you use , then you need to check the latest codes here

    then ...

    press menu
    press 1570. (this takes you into secret menu)
    Press OK on "nagravision"
    Make sure your cable provider is listed at top N*L or T***WEST C&W CHO**S ect
    Go down to "Key Number" and check its on 00
    Go down again to "Key Data" and input the correct keys
    Press OK to store
    Go back up "Key Number" and change to 01 using the > button on the remote control
    Go back down again to "Key Data" and input the correct keys
    Press OK to store
    Press "Exit" , Check the bottom option and make sure "Key EMU" is On
    Press Ok again
    Then "Exit and "Exit" again back to the main tv screen
    Then go to a paid channel and should update .

    hi i done all that it says no signal . i am not sure wat to do . do you know how to fix this problem . cheers/ i have an ntl signal and i put them codes into my box. but still not working ..thanks.

    also i noticed you said when changing the key number to 01 use the > button .that doesnt work i have to type it in , could that be the problem.

    Your persistent. Press menu, type 1570 on your remote and enable key emu at the bottom of the screen. Exit out to view.

    yeah i have done that today and the only channels that work are the paid channels ,for example bbc and utv.

    How many channels have you got and are you in the UK or Ireland

    As per Celts advice you never said where you are located. You say you are on N** so I presume you are in Ireland where is your general area please. I will see if Celt is around for you.

    i am in dublin and i have all the irish paid channels such as rte 1 and 2 and tv3.also my APIver is:2.57e-E thanks
