    Hello,
This mobo has given me a ton of crap forever. Ok, now that you have the background on the board I'll explain the situation.

I have a P4S800D-X asus motherboard. Forever I had been running 1 sata samsung 160gb HD, but plagued with bluescreens (it happens with that board, that's not the problem). So I finally got a 320GB Seagate Barracuda IDE drive. Right now I have 2 cd drives on the one ide slot, and the 320gig HD on the other. They all run fine, but when I boot from the 320gig windows cannot see the sata drive, but bios can. If I boot from the sata drive I can see everything. Anyone know how to get windows to be able to see the SATA while I am booting from the 320gig IDE?

ok well i solved it...and I feel stupid. All I had to do was install some newer RAID drivers and now it works perfectly.
