Is this occurring in all ports or just one?

What program are you trying to control? XBMC?

Do controllers work in the ports?

Your ports all return to two points at the front of the motherboard! They are little yellow wires.

Open the console and check under the front of the motherboard for corrosion!

Have a look at this tutorial...

    Touche!!!

Do you not have a dual boot function? (Turn on the Xbox with the eject button)

Thanks for reply Chunkhead,ok no joy on ms dashboard either.I have been using 192.168.0.1 for pc and 192.168.0.3 for xbox in past but I suppose after installing evox with slayers the settings may have changed>After looking in slayers manual thay are basically saying to configure to 192.168.1.200 for xbox and similar to pc but still no joy. This was my first attempt at updating as I bought the xbox already modded.I have backups available in my pc for c and e drives, just gotta get ftp to work I guess.Regards controller not working, dont know if part of the problem but anyway I will buy some torxx screwdrivers and open her up.Any suggestions for ftp connection prob? Thanks in advance.BTW copied games are booting up,just controller aint controlling.
