I'm trying to do some very simple editing with Windows Movie Maker. I'm trying to import video I've made that's on a DVD. But WMM doesn't seem to import all of it, or it's broken up into pieces, but not all of the pieces are there. Is there something I can do to make it work, or should I just go get another editing system?

    Thanks!

WMM is easy to use but cheap, if its just simple editing i suggest you stick with it:)

otherwie there is sonyvegas and adobe CS3 video editing

(adobe is difficult to learn to use, unless you have a lot of time or want to create a high quality presentation i dont suggest using this software)

use handbrake to rip your dvds to dvix
    http://handbrake.fr/

then convert those video to WMV
    http://www.tucows.com/preview/423662
    (link not tested)

you'll then be able to insert those videos (WMV format) into WMM and edit them:)

    best of luck buddy:)
