I have googled on this firmware but could only find one reference to it http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/177504 which really does not address your problem. Contacting emachine is useless, I have an emachine laptop and there is no support for any updates. My suggestion is to go to this site forum it is strictly for Lite-on drives and start reading it will give you a lot of info on your drive and various problems, fixes and software available. http://club.cdfreaks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=44
