It seems my svchost is taking 98 percent of my computer usage now I'm wondering what is doing it, is there a program that lets me see what programs are running through the process?
It seems to me like I saw something the other day about a program called tasklist with WIN XP that would let you do that - I would have to try hunting for more info tommorrow though - cant remember specifics. If you want to do some googling, there is also a company that was called wininternals or sysinternals, one of the principals was a russinovich, it was bought by microsoft, there is a MS website somewhere for that stuff, and I think one of the tools is something like process explorer, that also might be of help.
