Was wondering... My stand alone player has trouble
reading Zero Region DVDs. I want to creat DVDs of videos I got off the net or captured. BUT all the DVD producing programs I use don't give me an option to set a region, it just makes a zero region disc, thus, unplayable in my stand alone player.
I copied a DVD with DVD Shrink and set the Region to 1 and it plays just fine...
But for my owns movies, what can I use... Any advice?

if they are in dvd format (ifo, bup, and vob files), you can open it in ifoedit and pick a region.

you can use dvdshrink, it has the option of setting the regions when you copy
