    Hi all,
I recently got a projector, just as an experiment really, nothing fancy, a cheap second-hand Epson one.
I hooked it up to my HTPC and was well impressed with it, played all my videos ect and looked great.

It has got VGA, S-Vid and Composite video inputs, but heres the problem, if I connect my PS2 or my DVD player or SKY box, anything basically into the Composite port it projects the picture perfectly except a great vertical green bar down the middle!! This isn't present on the VGA input so I'm guessing it's not the bulb. It also has a fainter green/purple line to the left side of the screen.

Thinking it was the composite port and not being massively bothered as I can do most things through my HTPC, I bought a PS2 lead with an S-Vid connector thinking I could use that....I was wrong :( It thas the same lines.

A friend opened it up and touched up for dry solder joints but to no avail.

Any ideas guys or is she dead!?
