PS2 Backup - Communication Error?

    I'm using Nero to create a backup of my Madden 2002 with my Pioneer A04 burner. Note that both my DVDRom and DVD-R are on the same IDE cable (is that why it's not communicating?) I copied one right before this (Sega Tennis), and had no errors.

    What could it be? My error log is below:

    Attempt #2, no reboot. Another error, this time it looks like half of the data was written from the previous error. Losing it's power possibly? First burn looks like it had about 900MB written, second burn looks like only about 300MB written. Note: The second time, I copied to my HD then burned the image. Error log for second one is below:

    you doing a straight copy?

    What you should do is make an image on your machine, and burn the dvd from that.


    It ensures that there is no underrun, or communications error.
