PS2+DVD-R = Black and White

    When i play my burnt DVD-Rs in my PS2 some of them come out in black and white, is there anyway to stop this?

    Yeah copy color DVD's!! LOL Just kiddin

    Do they only show B&W in the PS2 or is everything showing them in B&W?

    no its only on the PS2 they work fine on my dvd player.

    OK I have seen this problem before and it had nothing to do with the DVD or the PS2 for that manner.

    Check your Audio/ Video cord.. While playing the movie wiggle it around some at the back of your PS2. I have seen these things go bad in a couple of PS2's and this was exactly what happened with those 2. If you can get a hold of another set of cords try them (maybe a buddy's)

    i have never heard of a ps2 playing B/W movies in ps2 console,only ps2 games that need patching
    do you use a scart lead?

    tryed this with no luck, it plays games and other movies ok its just some burnt disks, and yes i use a scart lead.
