ps2 game backups

i am trying to back up my playstation games. i did back up a game but when i inserted it into my playstation is came up with the insert a playstation disc screen... is there something i am missing?

 

Well tell me the exact steps you did to make your ps2 backup...what programs did you use.

 

i just used dvd decrypter because thats all i was told i needed...do i need more programs?and am i going to need a mod chip to play these games
