    Greetings,
I will be visiting friends next week and want to bring some blu-rays to watch with them.
Rather than risk my precious original discs I will bring back-ups on BD-Rs.
All they have is a PS3 to play the discs,
Will regular back-ups meant for a normal STB play in a PS3, or do I need to modify the back-up and re-burn it.
    Thanks.

Thank you all for your generous donation of time and expertise to assist me with my question.
However, I regret to inform you that you are all incorrect; insomuch as the extra folder on the OEM disc is labeled "PS3", that does not necessarily mean it can or cannot be excluded, or included with the copy being made. Given the likelihood of any particular disc being owned and played in either a stand-alone player or a PS3, by the same owner, in different machines, it should be calculated that the requisite differences should be minimized to less than 1 in order to avoid replication of duplicate discs.
