putting dvds on my ipod video!

hi- does anyone know how to put dvds or movies onto ipod videos??? i've been trying to do this since christmas!! thanks

 

for putting dvds onto my ipod i use xilisoft,you have to pay for it tho,but their could be free programs,im not sure,its simple really.
if im ripping videos from youtube or other video sites i use videoget,again its easy,just copu the url and paste,sadly tho you have to pay for this one as well.
although there is a free program for just youtube videos called Koyote IPOD Video Converter.

Try DVD Decrypter and Videora iPod Converter. They are both free and you can find them easily.

Trying to put dvd's on my daughters ipod using the software meantioned above but it has split the film

What do you mean split the film? Like cut it into two parts?

 

Yep.. In this instance 3!!

 

Are all 3 parts the movie or are some deleted scenes, extras, etc.?

 

In DVD Decrypter make sure you are in IFO mode, and in the settings you change file splitting to none.
