putting emulators onto xbox

hey umm just a quick question, can i put emulators on my xbox via hotswap? or do i need to ftp them?

 

you probly could but it is much easier to just ftp them

okay so where should i put the emulator on the Hdd?

 

i put mine in the e:/ but it doesnt really matter

 

i mean on the xbox's HDD, sorry i should have specified

 

oh wait do you have a stock hdd??

oh then put it in the c:/ you wont beable to do much with a stock though

yeah i know, i only have one game saved on it now, but i need to make this CD that someone told me to make so i can build a new HDD, linux.iso i think its called

yeah i got the emulator, and some ROMs to go with it, but then i tried to put it into my xbox's HDD, did hotswap right and all, but emulator doesnt work... =S

 

what did you do?? i mean to open it and stuff

 

chyea, i know what i did wrong.. i thought it would run on its own, but i forgot to put the zsensw.cfg and zguicfgw.dat files in the HDD along with the emulator program itself! dumb me! =D... ill try that out later on and see if it workd, ill post if i run into any troubles
