hi I ve installed the evox days ago I tried to back up one of my games HALO to my harddrive ok when loading the Px hdd loader V 1.2a evox 3921 , bios: X2_4977 (X-ecuter 2.2 Lite) it says: your modchip does not support eject on reset trick found please insert game to install Alay X:delete B:install game is already inserted so I press (B) the program checks the size of the game (3.4 gb) available space on xbox : 4.5gb and after pressing (b) the message appears: your modchip does not support eject on reset trick found please insert game to install I have changed the evox settings to all in game reset to : No and all in game reset to : Yes and nothing seems to take efect always the same message then can't I back up any of my games with X-C 2.2 L ? or is the bios? any response welcome thanx
I seem to remember readin in the 4977 read_me that they removed the eject trick. Have a look and maybe go to an earlier version if this doesnt suit you.
if they did remove that can I just reflash my bios 1mb from the evox menu with no problem? im doing this with the retail 10gb HDD I wanna try and learn how to edit the halo cache to do some stuff on multiplayer and also see how fast it loads from there then my bios is the problem right? someone on other forum told me to try XBcopy can I just ftp the xbox and slap it on the apps folder and that's it, the evox will recognize it? or a change of bios is needed to do this ?(copying my games) thanx
It should still work even though you get that error. Have the game already in the DVD drive before launching PXHDDLoader. RustyDog
the game is already on D drive when launching the Px HDD... always get the same message I did FTP halo from XBOX to my PC but since did'nt see any games folder didnt bother to manually install saw a lot of folders on E:\ but none for games apps,video,music,etc etc lol I had a lot of fun in cartographer making the marines fly fly away hehehe :-D this cache editing thing is easy peace
